Most of the great Canadian artists, who have made their name on the international scene, appeared for the first time in Montreal at Club Soda: James Blake, Frank Ocean, The Tragically Hip, Barenaked Ladies, Blue Rodeo, Amanda Marshall, Jann Arden, Holly Cole, David Usher and many others.

Many big names from the international scene held memorable performances as well:
Oasis, PJ Harvey, Fine Young Cannibals, Ben Harper, Amy Winehouse, Rufus Wainwright, Counting Crows, Melissa Etheridge, Jay Leno, Soundgarden, Chris Isaak, just to name a few.
