  The Ligue Nationale d'Improvisation (LNI) moves its rink to Club Soda  

November 20th, 2009 - The Ligue Nationale d’Improvisation (LNI) moves its rink to Club Soda, Montreal, where will be held its 32nd season

The direction of the Medley, the LNI’s old home, announced earlier this week the sale of the building because of low revenue and the enormous costs that would be needed to renovate the venue that will close on December 31^st.

According to the general director of the Théâtre de la LNI, Étienne Saint-Laurent, the Club Soda’s configuration will allow spectators to watch the improv games from all 4 sides of the rink. Through a press release, he insisted that while offering slightly less seats, “the ambiance will be more exciting than ever with the action taking place closer to the public and the Club Soda’s technical possibilities.”

The LNI’s All-Star Ceremony will take place at Club Soda on November 30^th. The Wonder-trois-quatre will perform, presenting improvised songs for the occasion.

The 32^nd season of the LNI will kick off on February 15^th at 7pm.
