Montreal, September 15, 2015 – Eman, one of Montréal’s best-known and busiest comedians, is all set to hit the Club Soda stage for her forthcoming live taping. Featuring brand new material and a sprinkling of her greatest hits, comedy fans will be treated to a set where the most controversial subjects are dissected and diffused into an inclusive night of laughter.
 
Eman’s ability to bring together people of all walks of life through comedy has gained her fans all across North America and beyond, and has seen her rack up an impressive list of credits including CBC’s The Debaters and the Just For Laughs festival. Travelling across Canada, the U.S and the Middle East she weaves a comedic web from a wide range of topics; from how lesbians are the new gentlemen, her never-ending struggle with getting into shape, to her parents’ wedding anniversary landing on, you guessed it, September 11th. She has just launched thepodcast Unheard Of: Sex, Religion and Politics at the Dinner Table. Interviewing a wide range of ordinary people with unconventional lives. Her guests vary from a Jehovah’s Witness, to people who are transgender and asexual, to a convert to Islam and a porn actor, to name a few.
 
With the hilarious host of the Just For Laughs 2015 Nasty Show,the notorious Mike Ward, playing host for the evening, the atmosphere could get pretty raucous. Thankfully, we’ll have the diplomatic skills of the opening act, former UN war crimes lawyer Jess Salomon on hand! Eman and Jess have collaboratedon numerous occasions, including co-producer credits on the popular, cross-cultural comedy show, Kosher Jokes for the Halaladays. “The evening is dedicated to entertaining the city I started and honed my craft in. I am excited for this show - the talent has been handpicked by yours truly, and I have really good taste.” Stated the humble headliner. The evening’s emantertainment is rounded out by KO Entertainment’s Charlie K and DJ Hostyle who will keep the evening bouncing with their selection of Middle Eastern beats.
